Why it matters
Members in the overlapping months would be counted in both cohorts. This is a Strovia platform check, not an official SIVI rule.

What the validator says about a test message:
- What is wrong
- The age bands of cohorts COH-25-29 (300–359 months) and COH-20-24 (300–359) overlap, with the same participation type 16.
- Where
- Scheme SPR-01, cohorts COH-25-29 and COH-20-24, fields startAge and endAge.
- How to fix it
- Correct the age bands in the source data so that they follow each other without overlap.
