About these terms. These terms apply to the Strovia website and its free demo tools (the “website”), operated by Aptech Consultants Limited, company number 06294236, [registered address] (“we”, “us”). By using the website you accept these terms. Strovia’s commercial services are provided under a separate written agreement, which takes precedence over these terms.
-
Using the website. You may use the website for your own business purposes. Please do not try to disrupt it, test its security without our written permission, copy it in bulk by automated means, or use it in breach of any law.
-
The free demo tools. The validator and the other demos are provided free of charge and “as is”, for information and testing. They use synthetic sample data and the official VB-PUO releases bundled with the website. Their results do not replace your own checks, your counterparty’s validation or professional advice. We may change or withdraw the demos at any time.
-
Your files. A file you check with the free validator is sent to our server, checked, and deleted straight away; it is not stored (see Privacy). You remain responsible for having the right to use the data you load. The demos do not need data about individual scheme members, so please do not use such data.
-
The VB-PUO standard. Strovia supports the VB-PUO standard, owned by the Pensioenfederatie and maintained by SIVI. The schemas, code lists and sample messages that SIVI publishes are used with attribution: Bron: SIVI – VB-PUO Standaard. Strovia is independent and is not endorsed by SIVI or the Pensioenfederatie.
-
Intellectual property. The Strovia name and logo, the website’s content and the demo software belong to Aptech Consultants Limited or its licensors. You may not reuse them without our permission, except for normal browsing, printing a page for your own reference and sharing links. [The Strovia name is used pending trademark clearance.]
-
Other websites. Links to other websites are for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
-
Our liability. We provide the website and the demos free of charge, so, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from their use, including loss of profit, revenue, business or data. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
-
Changes. We may update these terms; the version on the website, with its date, applies from then on.
-
Law and courts. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction [to be confirmed by our adviser].
